Cara
Cowan Watts has endorsed Scott Walton for Rogers County Sheriff.
“Scott is someone I
can trust to lead all Rogers County citizens in the right
direction,” she said. “Scott cares for each and every citizen as an
individual due the respect of another.”
Cowan is the
current two-term Cherokee Tribal Council's District 7 Councilwoman.
Before being elected to her Council seat, Cowan worked at WilTel
Communications and Hewlett-Packard as an engineer.
In describing Scott
Walton, Cara reflects on her first-hand experience with Scott
working in the community both as a volunteer and as a community
organization leader. She understands Scott has proven himself ready
to step into the role of Rogers County Sheriff with a calm demeanor
and consistent logic. As a fourth generation Rogers County resident
and a Cherokee Tribal citizen, Scott understands Rogers County.
Scott is deeply rooted in the community.
“Rogers County is
home for my family,” Cowan Watts said, “When I vote for Scott
Walton, I am voting for the person I believe can best serve the
needs of Rogers County. Scott is honest, capable, and ready to
serve our rural communities from Tiawah to Talala. Scott is
familiar with every corner of Rogers County.”
