Catoosa Meet and Greet
Doctor Charles Duke of Catoosa's Vision and Eye
Medical Diagnostic and Laser Center hosted a local meet and greet
Monday night at his Catoosa clinic.
Dr. Duke opened his doors after business hours
to receive guests interested in meeting Walton.
Air Evac LifeTeam's Emily Smith was on hand
representing Air Evac.
"I thank Doctor Duke for the evening and for
being such a great supporter of mine," said Walton.
Walton said that Duke's office is a good
example of the rapid growth Rogers County is experiencing.
Duke's office is located at 1755 North Highway 66, next to the new
Catoosa Reasor's. "Just a few years ago there was nothing here
and now it's thriving," said Walton.
The small gathering was treated to sandwiches
and cold drinks while meeting Walton and asking questions about the
future of Rogers County.
Following the meet and greet, Walton made his
way to the Catoosa Historical Museum where a gathering of Catoosa
residents were hosting a weenie roast.
The Historical Museum opened the doors into the
night and the gathering braved the frigid temperatures, gathering
around a fire to roast marshmallows and hot dogs, dancing, and
enjoying the community event.
