Claremore Chamber to Host Forum The Claremore Chamber of Commerce with the Rogers County Young Professionals, in cooperation with Rogers State University Public Television and the Claremore Daily Progress will host a candidate forum for all candidates in Rogers County. The forum will be held on Thursday night at the Claremore Community Center, 2301 North Sioux in Claremore (see map below.) The event will get underway at 7PM. The forum will feature not only the sheriff's race but also other county races including the race for County Clerk and County Commissioner. Also included in the forum is the race for House District 9, between incumbent Tad Jones and challenger Bill Snyder. The event will be recorded for later broadcast by Rogers State University Public Television Channel 35 (Cox Cable 19.) The forum will be moderated by RSU's Dan Schiedel and the candidates will be asked questions by reporters from the Claremore Daily Progress. The event is free and open to the public.
