Serving Slices for CASA

Scott "Garçon" Walton will be serving as a waiter at the Claremore Pizza Hut on July 25th from 7 to 9 PM.

The celebrity wait staff night will benefit the Court Appointed Special Advocates.  All tips given to the celebrity wait staff will go directly to CASA.

The CASA organization provides volunteers for children who have been the victims of crime.  The volunteers are specially trained to speak for the best interest of abused and neglected children.  Once a child is in protective custody, CASA volunteers are put into action speak to the court on behalf of the child and work hard to minimize the amount of time children are in protective custody. 

"This is a great program that has helped countless people," Walton said.  "I'm glad to help CASA in whatever way I can."

Walton has been a celebrity waiter in the past and, when asked to serve again, didn't hesitate to say yes.

The Pizza Hut is located at 600 South Lynn Riggs in Claremore.

"I hope we get to raise a good amount of money for CASA," said Scott. "It's a good cause and good fun."
